how tell momo handles your information — plainly, without fine print tricks.
1. Who we are
Tell Momo is operated by Eugene (“we”, “us”, or “our”). If you have questions about this policy, contact us at photodumps.support@gmail.com.
2. What Tell Momo does
Tell Momo is a quiet space to:
- write anonymous notes about what is on your mind;
- read notes from others and leave kind replies;
- optionally draw a house, tree, and person for a gentle reflection;
- open crisis helpline links from the in-app SOS screen.
Notes and replies are designed to be anonymous. There are no public profiles, usernames on notes, or follower counts.
3. Information stored on your device
Most Tell Momo data stays on your iPhone unless you choose Sign in with Apple or make a purchase through Apple:
- notes you write and replies you receive;
- your drawing and drawing reflection;
- app settings such as theme, colours, and font preference;
- weekly usage limits for the free plan;
- premium status if you purchase premium.
If you sign out and delete your account in Settings, Tell Momo removes your notes, drawing, settings, and account data from that device.
4. Optional Sign in with Apple
Sign in with Apple is optional. If you use it, Apple may share with the app:
- a unique Apple user identifier;
- your email address or a private relay email;
- your name, only if Apple provides it on first sign-in.
This information is stored on your device to support your account. It is not shown on your notes or replies.
5. Purchases
Premium subscriptions and lifetime access are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple provides purchase status so the app can unlock premium features. You can restore purchases from Settings in the app.
6. What we do not do
Tell Momo does not:
- sell your personal information;
- use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking;
- require your real name on notes or replies;
- access your contacts, photo library, microphone, or location for app features.
7. SOS and third-party services
The SOS screen may open your phone app, Messages, or browser to call or visit public crisis helpline websites. Those services are operated by third parties, not Tell Momo. Their privacy practices apply when you leave the app.
8. Children
Tell Momo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted at this page. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this policy.
